WHY THE URGENCY?
Following the usual Openreach pattern of confirming Tranche (copper stop-sell) dates every quarter, we anticipate a further Tranche to be announced around April/May 2023. We could also expect a further Tranche (13) of exchanges confirmed in July/August. This will likely be the final Tranche to be confirmed before the Nationwide Stop Sell comes into effect in September 2023. The Nationwide Stop Sell will ensure that all remaining exchanges that had not previously been announced by a Tranche (or indeed moved into a TBD state) will then go into Stop/Sell.
